Emina Višnić is experienced in non-profit cultural management, networking, and cultural advocacy and capacity building in non-profit sector. She is Director at POGON (Zagreb), an open center for independent culture and youth, funded as public institution based on a new model of civil–public partnership. Till recently she served as vice-chair of the Executive Committee of the European advocacy network Culture Action Europe (Brussels). She is a chair of Management Board of Kultura Nova Foundation, a national public body supporting development of cultural civil society. She is member of Cultural Council for Innovative Cultural Practices at Croatian Ministry of Culture and until recently Artistic Advisor for Complementary Activities at Croatian Audiovisual Centre. Occasionally, she works as a trainer and talks/writes about cultural policy and management issues with focus on advocacy, networking, strategic planning and new models of management of cultural infrastructure, and as facilitator and moderator of meetings, debates and conferences.
