BIO

Prof. Dr. phil. Gernot Wolfram, born on 08 August 1975 in Zittau/Sachsen, Germany. Cultural scientist, author and publicist. His research projects are focused on international arts management, intercultural hermeneutics, strategies of empowerment and participation within communities. He was involved, together with Dr. Patrick Föhl, in several cultural developing processes in Germany and also in the Ukraine (“Road Map for Culture 2015”). Since 2009 he is an expert member of the Team Europe of the European Commission in Brussels with the core themes Intercultural and Cultural Projects. Since 2006 he works as expert for Media Studies and Arts Management for the “Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung” (Federal Agency for Civic Education) in Berlin. Currently he works as Professor for Media- and Arts Management at the Macromedia University Berlin.
