BIO

is a councillor of the capital city of Prague since November 2014 and he acted as a deputy mayor for territorial development and planning until he was removed from the office on 22.10.2015. Until November 2014, he worked as a deputy mayor of the Prague district 3 in the field of housing and culture. He is a board member of the Green Party. In the period 2003 – 2009 he worked for the magazine Literární noviny (Literature Newspaper) starting as a contributor, assistant editor, redactor and editor. He occasionally publishes articles in the magazines Právo (Law) and Lidové noviny (People’s Newspaper). In 1990’s he studied at English and French schools in Lisbon and he completed French Lycée in Prague Rome. He studied journalism and international territorial studies from the Department of Social Studies, Charles University, and holds a PhD in media studies. In 2009 he co-founded the civic association Žižkov aiming (not only) at fair housing privatization. He co-founded the association Tady není developerovo (This Is No Place for Developers) which is successful in seeking to save the Žižkov freight railway station.
